It's an ill wind that blows... some good

Last night we took ourselves along to the familiar surroundings of the Swan & Harlequin at Faversham. It had been chucking it down and blowing a gale all afternoon, the M2 was closed at the Medway bridge and conditions were of the type when the voices of authority encourage people to stay at home.

But not us, eh? We had a booking to fulfil and moreover, new songs to try out, including Queen's "Now I'm Here", Whitesnake's "Fool For Your Loving", AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie" and not forgetting the well-travelled "Sweet Home Alabama" by yer Lynyrd Skynyrd.

On the night it went pretty well; a good reception for the Queen number particularly. Weather conditions had improved by the time it came to go home, so no-one got blown into the Medway.

There are yet more new songs in the pipeline so hopefully they'll get an airing at the next couple of gigs. Get along if you can!
